1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the NEHT Golf website and services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and registered players.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to register for NEHT Golf events or create an account. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Event Registration & Entry Fees

• All event registrations are subject to availability and confirmation by NEHT Golf.
• Entry fees are due at the time of registration unless a deposit option is offered.
• NEHT Golf reserves the right to cancel or modify events due to unforeseen circumstances, including weather, venue issues, or insufficient field size.
• Players are responsible for ensuring their GHIN handicap index is accurate and up to date prior to each event.

4. Refund Policy

• All entry fees are due in full at the time of registration.
• Requests for refunds before the entry closing date will be honored less the 3.5% credit card processing fee and a $25 administrative fee.
• Requests received after the entry closing date and outside of 48 hours of the event will be honored, less the 3.5% credit card processing fee and 50% of the entry fee.
• No refunds will be honored within 48 hours of the event, unless the event is cancelled by NEHT Golf, in which case all entries will be refunded.

5. Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and sportsmanlike manner. The following behaviors may result in disqualification and/or a ban from future events:

• Cheating, sandbagging, or misrepresenting your handicap index.
• Abusive, threatening, or disrespectful behavior toward other players, staff, or venue personnel.
• Violation of USGA Rules of Golf or local course rules.
• Failure to complete a round without notifying tournament officials.

6. Prize Payouts & Tax Reporting

Prize winnings are subject to applicable federal and state tax laws. Players who win $600 or more in a calendar year will be required to provide a completed IRS W-9 form. NEHT Golf will issue a 1099-MISC form as required by law. By participating, you consent to this reporting obligation.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including logos, text, graphics, and tournament data, is the property of NEHT Golf and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

NEHT Golf is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage incurred during or in connection with participation in our events. By registering, players acknowledge the inherent risks of playing golf and agree to participate at their own risk. NEHT Golf's total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the entry fee paid for the relevant event.

9. Photo & Media Release

By participating in NEHT Golf events, you grant NEHT Golf the right to use photographs, videos, and other media captured during events for promotional and marketing purposes, without compensation.

10. Modifications to Terms

NEHT Golf reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our Services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Riverside County, California.
